Program Pillar 07

Child Protection

Actively combating child labor, trafficking, and exploitation by establishing village vigil committees and safe rescue frameworks.

Safeguarding Rights & Protecting Vulnerable Childhoods

Every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment free from exploitation, forced labor, child marriage, and human trafficking. Unfortunately, socioeconomic vulnerabilities across rural pockets often put young lives at severe risk of abuse and dropout.

At the Bihar Water Development Society (BWDS), our child protection initiatives focus on active community vigilance, rescue operations, legal counseling, and rehabilitation support. By partnering with village committees and district child welfare authorities, we ensure that every child's fundamental rights are fiercely protected.
