Successfully constructed and restored 45 farm ponds and check dams across drought-prone blocks of Nalanda and Patna. This initiative enabled local farming communities to harvest rainwater effectively, recharging groundwater tables and providing critical life-saving irrigation during dry spells.
Trained over 3,000 paddy farmers in System of Rice Intensification (SRI) methods. The project emphasized organic bio-fertilizers, line transplanting, and reduced water consumption, helping farmers lower input costs while boosting overall harvest yields.
Facilitated Kisan Credit Card linkages and organized agricultural input distribution camps. Smallholder farming families received direct guidance on institutional credit access, government subsidy schemes, and high-quality seed procurement.
